Unter dem einfachen Titel „Nail“ wurde 1972 von Tallinnfilm unter der Regie von Pars Heino eine Sammlung von vier kurzen Geschichten veröffentlicht, deren Handlung einzig durch Stopmotion-animierte Nägel erzählt wurden. Immer wieder beeindruckend, derartige Animation zu sehen, die noch heute funktioniert, aber bereits über ein halbes Jahrhundert auf dem Buckel hat.

1. Passionate love.
Nail climbs through а window to see Nailette. His head glows with passion and he transfers this glow to her. Then he invites her to a dance and they dance together, sensually curving. Then – a kiss, they glow red-hot, and a small little nail appears. Seeing him, Nail jumps out the window and hides.2. Nothing good comes from asking for it
Nailette moves around Hammer for a long time, then kisses him. The hammer rises and falls on her (partly flattening her).3. Say „no“ to drunkenness
A bent nail starts a fight with other nails. A police siren sounds and a large magnet arrives, takes the bully and puts him behind bars. Only an empty vodka bottle sheds a tear for the drunkard.4. Circus.
The circus march sounds. The Lion Tamer Nail flicks the whip and makes a large, growling nail jump over the burning hoop, then bows to the audience. But the big nail eats up the tamer and bows himself.
