Bloc Party spielt Tiny Desk Concert

Ende August werde ich wieder beim Victorious Festival in Portsmouth sein, wobei ich mich vor allem auch auf den Gig von Bloc Party freue. Zum 20-jährigen Jubiläum des Releases von „Silent Alarm“ wird die Londoner Band nämlich im Zuge ihres Sets das komplette Album (plus Greatest Hits) spielen. Mit „Banquet“ gibt es auch einen Song der Platte auf der vier Lieder umfassenden Setlist für ihr Tiny Desk Concert, das das Quartett bei NPR Music abgehalten hat. Eine willkommene Einstimmung.
