The Warning – „Ritual“

Die Single „Kerosene“ hatte mich bereits besonders beeindruckt, jetzt folgt mit „Ritual“ der nächste vielversprechende Vorabtrack zur neuen Platte von The Warning. „Everything’s Falling“ (Partnerlink) wird das fünfte Studioalbum des mexikanischen Schwesterntrios heißen und am 28. August erscheinen. „Ritual“ kommt zwar nicht ganz an „Kerosene“ heran, aber vor allem im Instrumental lassen sich einige richtig starke Momente finden. Hier das offizielle Musikvideo zum Song.

‘Ritual’ is about the fear of losing something good. Even when life is going well, anxiety can convince you that disaster is right around the corner. It’s about getting trapped in those thoughts and letting them keep you from actually living in the moment.
